Information Design Project

In this artifact, the primary objective was to focus on information design and gain proficiency in presenting text and numerical data in an easily comprehensible format. The chosen task was to prompt the University of South Florida’s Allied Health Program to incoming freshmen by creating a flyer that encapsulated the essential information in three visuals. While given a long spreadsheet of data, emphasis was placed on selecting only pertinent information. The acquired skills involved using colors, typography, and other design aspects to cater to the audience while effectively communicating the message without overwhelming it. Ultimately, this project contributed to developing valuable skills in information design, data analysis, creativity, attention to detail, project management, communication, marketing, software proficiency, and critical thinking. These skills will impress employers in various professional settings because they show my ability to focus on essential details and provide accurate work.
