In this artifact, I undertook a project that involved copy-editing a document. This task demanded a meticulous approach as I had to pursue and hand-edit several pages of a document provided by my professor. The copy-editing assignment honed my attention to detail and improved my proficiency in grammar and language, consistency, critical thinking, communication, and overall professionalism. This project highlights many of my skills pertinent to many industries I am interested in, including journalism, marketing, publishing, and communications. The ability to effectively and efficiently proofread and edit documents is a highly sought-after skill in today's professional landscape.
