To Lose Weight Naturally – What To Eat Or Not To Eat

When on the path to natural weight loss, there’s often a lot of information to sift through and digest. For example, what should you truly avoid? What type of food is right for you specifically to help you truly lose weight? What about nutrition and eating enough? Why is organic better?

Well, they’re good questions to ask and answer. Below are pointers that help address some of the common questions and discussions around natural weight loss and nutrition.

It is important to eat organic foods to lose weight naturally. Why? Our bodies weren’t made to digest processed foods. In addition, our bodies weren’t meant to digest pesticides found on conventional fruits or added hormones and antibiotics added to many conventional farm animals. Think about it. By eating products that include these types of items and by-products, we’re making our bodies work harder to process our food, for one, in addition to having to rid itself of unnecessary toxins. You’ll notice a difference when you begin eating organic foods, and an added bonus is they usually taste better!

Eat foods appropriate for your metabolic type. We’re each unique, which includes being unique in what foods work best for our bodies. By knowing your metabolic type-Protein, Carbohydrate or a Combination of the two-you’ll be able to select the foods that truly work best with your body to help you lose weight and feel better overall. For example, a person who process proteins better than carbs should eat diets high good fat and proteins, but low in carbs. On the other hand, a Carbohydrate type should eat low fat, high carb diets.

It’s true, avoid artificial sweeteners. Similar to eating conventional, non-organic foods, our bodies were not designed to intake artificial sweeteners, which means our bodies aren’t working efficiently when we ingest them which makes it hard to lose weight. In addition, studies have shown that artificial sweeteners can have harmful side effects.

And YES, drink plenty of water. Our bodies are composed of 75% water, so it should be common sense that we need to drink plenty of it to help our bodies function efficiently to achieve optimal weight loss. Also, water helps our bodies break down stored fat and flush out the bad toxins and waste that ends up in our systems.

Proper nutrition for weight loss and health doesn’t have to be rocket science.
